Big dreams start small

Our preschool program across the pae ‘āina helps our youngest haumāna gain the confidence to dream of how they’ll create a brighter tomorrow. Our preschools are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, which recognizes early childhood programs that meet national standards of quality requirements. Through Hawaiian culture-based education we offer learning experiences in an environment that is safe, enriching and enjoyable. By connecting our keiki to their culture and language, we lay a foundation for future success.

Mahalo nui Nānākuli Preschool kumu & keiki for reminding us of Princess Pauahiʻs advice on overcoming adversity: “Times will come when you will feel you are being pushed into the background. Never allow this to happen-stand always on your own foundation. But you will have to make that foundation. There will come a time when to make this stand will be difficult, especially to you of Hawaiian Birth, but conquer you can-if you will.” If you would like your keiki to learn about their Hawaiian heritage from a preschool committed to raising the next generation of ʻōiwi leaders, there is still time to apply to @kamehameha.preschools.
