Our KSK ‘ohana will engage in workshops grounded in Hawaiian culture based learning opportunities that are:
grounded in Hawaiian culture, worldviews, and ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi
personalized to the unique context and path of each ʻohana
responsive to the needs of our ʻāina and lāhui, and
rigorous and relevant to modern, global environments and technologies.
This school year, KOAE provided seven Hawaiian Cultural Based Learning Opportunities that included: locally grown ingredients from our KS pae ʻāina, a cultural approach to mental health practices, sense of pilina āina, and striving to preserve and practice Hawaiian lifestyle traditions of hana noʻeau through a series of online resources depicting the skilled and work of our kūpuna.
